This is a fantastic opportunity to explore Yucatán’s wild clay and learn ancestral hand-building and surface decoration techniques, while exploring the rich symbolism of ancient Maya culture. We’ll work in the best pottery studio in downtown Mérida, guided by two wonderful local clay artists and teachers. Normally offered as a month-long course, this special Shaw Street Pottery edition has been thoughtfully adapted into an intensive 8-day format. Join the fun!
What is included: One Maya symbols and Sgraffito technique workshop in the Santiago neighbourhood, three pottery classes in the Santa Ana pottery studio, all materials and firing, taxes and service fees.Note that the price is in Canadian dollars, and the currency conversion will be based on the excghange rate on the day of your booking.
