Julie Martin, owner of Shaw Street Pottery, is from Québec City and it is with great pride and anticipation that she will host the Québec City and Pottery experience in her hometown. This six-day program includes three nights in an apartment located above the pottery studio and right across the river from historic Old Québec, and three nights in Petit Hôtel Café Krieghoff on the vibrant and popular 'Avenue Cartier', in the heart of Québec City's Montcalm neighbourhood.
The pottery program is excellent - with three sessions on the pottery wheel, perfect for true beginners up to advanced potters, surface finishing workshops with one sgraffito session, and one peacock glazing workshop. Enjoy a guided walking tour of beautiful Old Québec, high tea at the iconic Château Frontenac, an evening at 'Les Grands Feux', Québec City's firework festival, an excursion to Île d'Orléans, and many outings in and around charming Old Québec. Breakfast is included every morning, as well as a light snack and refreshment every afternoon. Quel plaisir!
