The Shaw Street Pottery 2025 'Merida Pottery Program' will take place on March 5th and 6th, in the Santa Ana neighbourhood of downtown Mérida, and our clay creations will be fired and ready to be picked-up by March 10th.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about Yucatan clay, ancestral hand building and surface decoration techniques. We will make our clay creations in the best studio in downtown Mérida, with the guidance of two super nice local clay artists and teachers. This 'barro' program is usually offered over the course of one month, but this special Shaw Street Pottery edition of the program is set to be completed in only 6 days!
What is included:
All taxes and service fees, two pottery sessions per day on March 5th and 6th (10am to 1pm, and 3 to 5pm) in Merida's Santa Ana neighbourhood , all materials and pottery firing.
Participants pick-up their fired/finished items on March 10th
What is not included:
-Lunch on both days
